FlipQuiz allows users to create gameshow-style boards for their students. The online tool is FREE, however, you also have the option to purchase a pro version. Users have the ability to design an unlimited amount of boards or discover pre-made boards. Simply add the questions and answers to your board, connect to a projector, and display board to students. I always like to learn about new tools. Let me introduce you to Quizalize! Quizalize is a online assessment tool that is fun an engaging. Teachers can easily take a quiz and make it into a multiplayer game. You can create a quiz or use a ready-made quiz from the Marketplace. Students can assess the quiz from any device with a browser. Teachers receive immediate, real-time feedback and identify students who need more assistance. The best part of all...IT'S FREE! Check it out!
Here is another awesome resource for your toolkit...Thinglink and Google Drive! I am a fan of both tools and was excited to learn that I could use them together. Thinglink allows users to create interactive images (see my post here). Now you can take Thinglink even further and integrate Google Drive! In the example shown above, I have created a Thinglink project about animals cells. I created my image using Google Drawings. Students can access the Thinglink via a link. At the bottom of the Thinglink I have incorporated the following using Google Drive:
I could easily direct the students to the Thinglink and they will have everything in one place to complete their learning task. How cool is that?! You can find more information on the Thinglink blog about Thinglink & Google Docs integration from Susan Oxnevad. Her example is AWESOME!
Looking for another fun way to assess students? Try Quizizz! Quizizz allows multiplayer gaming and is compatiable with tablets, chromebooks, and mobile devices. No projector needed! It is student-paced and allows for realtime feedback. You can choose from a question library or create your own quiz. A detailed report is available at the end of quiz. The best part...IT'S FREE!! Try it out and leave a comment below about your experience.
