We use email constantly in today's world. I send several attachments throughout the week within my emails. Due the constraints of my work email, I sometimes receive errors stating that my attachment is "too big". No biggie...I just use WeTransfer! WeTransfer is a cloud-based file transfer system that sends files up to 2BG for FREE. Yes, FREE!! Simply add the file, enter recipient's email address, your email address, and a short message (optional) then your file is ready to go. The recipient will receive an email notification requesting him/her to download the file. The link is good for seven days then it will be deleted. So whenever you need to send a large file, don't forget about WeTransfer.
Infographics are a visual representation of data, knowledge, or information. Often more powerful than words or imagery alone, infographics utilize visual elements of design and words to convey a message. However, visual representation of information can be more than just the manner in which we are able to record what has been discovered by other means. They have the potential to become the process by which we can discern new meaning and discover new knowledge. The observer becomes enlighten, having learned from the visual feast and is motivated to seek out more knowledge in this medium (Ross, 2009).
Infographics are easy and fun to create. Teachers can give students an essential question and student create infographics to respond to the essential question. When students create infographics, they are using information, visual, and technology literacies. Infographics can be used as an assessment or a way to deliver information to students.
